5. Colditz

Midden in de nacht word ik wakker met vreemde beelden in mijn hoofd. De boer die de varkens wil verkippen heeft de vorm aangenomen van de commandant van een Colditz-achtig krijgsgevangenkamp uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Hij inspecteert de varkens die opgesteld staan op de binnenplaats van het kasteel.  “Und how many eggs have you gelegt this week?” vraagt hij.  Een varken stapt naar voren, salueert  en zegt:  “No eggs yet, sir”.  Of ik hier iets aan heb voor het boek weet ik niet.  Maar ik ben er wel blij mee.
